Eucalan Wool Wash the most popular and inexpensive way to wash wool covers. It is also called Eucalan Delicate Wash. It restores some lanolin with each washing. Easy to use because it's easy to measure, unlike the soap, where you have to guess until you get a feel for how much to use. If you are machine washing a merino wool blanket, you need a liquid lanolin enriched wool wash like this. It's perfect for hand washing your wool covers. Some customers say they never relanolize when they use the Eucalan, but we still think periodic relanolizing with Lansinoh Lanolin is needed, but it depends on personal preference. This is far superior to grocery store wool washes, which strip the lanolin off the covers and cause them to leak. Please don't use those on your lovely wools. Use a proper wool wash such as Eucalan. Which scent to choose? That is personal preference mostly, except that the Eucalyptus is a natural moth and flea inhibitor, so if you have moths, get Eucalyptus. Both the Eucalypus and Lavender are scented with natural oils not synthetic fragrance. The scents are very mild. The scents are not strong at all but are nice. Unscented has no moth-inhibiting properties. Learn how to wash wool. Even more detailed and complete information is in the free GMD How To Booklet you can request when you order.

As a lady at the advanced age of 35, I don't know how I went my entire adult life without this product! I purchased it for washing baby 'a wool soakers, but holy moly, it is great for other things as well!

Wool: best product for it, all scents are just loverly but the eucalyptus is my fave (and has anti-moth properties so use this scent for your wool)

Unmentionables: I now wash my bras with this in the sink; they come out so fresh! I like the lavender for this purpose.

Pets: This is probably my favorite unanticipated use! We have two miniature dachshunds and I make a little sink bubble bath, soak them in it for about 5 minutes, then towel dry them. It's incredible how silky they feel after- they are so clean and fresh. Their coats are shiny from the lanolin, and it really moisturizers their skin. I was having all kinds of trouble finding a dog shampoo that didn't cause dry, irritated skin. This is the solution! I use the eucalyptus scent for this since it's a natural flea repellant. And yes, when they are bathed, the laundry smells like doggy day spa!! I have even used it as bubble bath for myself!!!!

Other Delicates: I had a huge pile of dry cleaning that I'd procrastinated taking to the cleaners (reallllllly procrastinated, I'm talking more than a year's worth). I was able to hand wash about 90% of it using Eucalan, and after ironing, everything looked so great as if it had been dry cleaned. Not only did I save a ton of money, but I also didn't have all of those toxic chemicals from dry cleaning left on our clothes!

Bottom line: whether you are using wool soakers or not, Eucalan is a must-have in any grownup woman's laundry supply list! I'm so glad I will be able to teach my daughter about this as she grows up!

Washes well, lightly lanolizes (maintenance lanolizing) and the scents are soft.

This has been my favorite wool wash for 21 years. It works great on washable wool covers like Imse Vimes, interlock wool, and Kissavas Knit wool. My DD reacts to to much lano so this is perfect for us. In addition, it is super easy and last a long time. I even use it on my sweaters. The scents are not too strong after washed and dried.
