Cloth diapers.  That seems pretty basic and simple.  Well, that's not really so.   When my first baby was little, I spent a lot of money trying every diaper and cover out there.  Over the years, I finally found products that work well, and I offer them here.  I have become a big fan of snap closures, because they never abrade the skin like hook-and-loop closures can.

There are several package deals at great prices to help make the purchase of your cloth diapering system easier.  They have been carefully designed to provide what you need at the price level that's right for you.  

Here's an overview of diapering from birth to toddlerhood:

Newborn: 4-6 Litewraps size newborn, 3 to 4 dozen infant size DSQ Prefold Diapers, 3 to 5 packs of wipes.  

Infant:  Keep using the infant size DSQ prefold diapers you bought for the newborn period, but add 4 to 8 covers in the next sizes in styles of your choice.  It's handy to have a few all-in-ones, too.

Sitting, crawling, moving baby: Move up to regular size DSQ Prefold diapers, 3 dozen, and the next size of covers, 4-8 of them.  Now is the time that you will really appreciate the convenience of the all-in-ones.  Buy a bunch of them.   The more of these you have, the easier and faster it is to diaper your little squirmer.  Some people use all-in-ones exclusively.  

Toddlers:  DSQ Prefold prefold diapers in size Toddler are great for toddlers, who wet less frequently, but in larger quantities, but some kids will potty train before they ever need those. But Toddler size prefolds are wonderful at night even on babies as young as 8 months old because they are so absorbent.  The all-in-ones work very well for toddlers, too.   Or you can keep using the regular size DSQ Prefolds, and just buy the next size covers as needed. 

No vinyl is used in any products we offer (beware of vinyl in other brands of all-in-ones). And of course, unlike disposable diapers, our diapers do not contain any polyacrylites or "agm"  or antimony trioxide (flame retardant metal???). We do not sell products with microfiber bindings.
